When Bradford and Bingley were chosen in the cat shelter, Aunty Gill was told that they would have to stay
together. They were brought to their new home, and having had it tough in their first home - they were very timid. They would
both hide in a corner, and sit under tables. It took a while before they settled in and got used to their new surroundings.
But with patient love and understanding, and lots of cuddles - they got used to their new humans.
They were about 9 months old when they came to my aunty and uncle.
They were a bit different in personalities; Bingley is the most placid and friendly cat in the world. His
mum can basically do whatever she wants with him, and he just purrs. He will always be around your feet, or jumps up on the
couch with you. He always wants lots of attention and cuddles. This might sometimes be a a tiniest bit sloppy, as he has a
slight dribbling problem..
Lately he has developed problems with the fur and skin on his back, as he is allergic to fleas. When cats
go out, they can get fleas everywhere, so that is unfortunate, to say the least. Last time, he got a prescription for
this cream to put on it, and antibiotics, etc. for him to not lick his wound, he got a cone on... He did NOT appreciate this
at all. Bingley always rubs up onto our legs and table legs, etc. He would bang into everything now. He would also walk BACKWARDS,
possibly this was easier than walking forwards with the cone on..
Otherwise, he is a happy guy.
Bradford used to a bit more picky about people he would let stroke him. He is always friendly, but didn't
use to be as approachable as Bingley. Then he had a car accident. He either got hit by a car or run over slightly. That scared
him really bad. since then, he has changed. He is more quiet and comes home more. He wants cudles from all people he knows
well now. Bradford hasn't been as unlucky otherwise, he is normally a very happy guy.
